Good set of (relatively) cheap dumbbells compared to the fancy adjustable type.
Pros: Legends on the weights are clear, good finish on the plates, bar, and screw-caps. Good threading, very easy to screw on and off. Rubber washers inset on the screws help prevent them slipping off if you cinch them up good.
Cons: The chrome-y finish flakes off in very small amounts when screwing/unscrewing. Not a major concern, just something to know, may want to sweep up or use outdoors if possible. The gnurling/grip is VERY aggressive. Pretty hard on the hands, and I've lifted weights for a year or two. I wear gloves when using them as a result.

Got this some time ago, delivery over a weekend and punctual with timing. Great unit, robust and versatile as this unit is older but provides for flat, incline and even shoulder presses. I have seen no other similar unit and I have been a regular gym going for 20 years. Again, I'm very pleased with the product and the services I received. Definitely will buy from Great Life again!

I was referred to Great Life Fitness by PowerTec USA as I wanted to add attachments to my existing PowerTec Workbench multi gym system and there are are no PowerTec dealers in Winnipeg where I reside. Great Life Fitness is in Vancouver (1500 miles from Winnipeg) but dealing with them was like dealing with a local store. Rick was very knowledgeable about the PowerTec line and knew exactly what I was looking for. They had it in stock which surprised me, and the price was more than reasonable. Michelle looked after the actual order and arranged the shipping via Purolator ground. I had my order three business days after placing it. It doesn't get any better than that. I highly recommend Great Life Fitness and will definitely purchase from them again.
